Towards climate neutrality: a new digital tool for your city’s transition

by | Sep 19, 2023 | News | 0 comments

On October 18th, join us at the Energy Cities’ Forum in Modena to find out more about the innovative European City Calculator

Do cities know how to achieve climate neutrality?

Do they have the tools to implement the right policies?

What impact will the new measures have on citizens’ daily lives?

In the context of the Energy Cities’ Forum in Modena (Italy), as part of Inspirational Day on October 18th, we invite you on a journey to connect the people in your city for a stronger local governance. One of the three sessions organised in the context of the Future-Proof Local Governance Hub is dedicated to the EUCityCalc project.

The European City Calculator is an energy modelling tool that allows cities to visualize and simulate low-carbon scenarios to find the solutions that better suit their needs in energy-relevant sectors (transport, industry, agriculture, buildings, etc.).

From 16.00 to 17.30, we will see how the tool works, why it can be a game changer in achieving climate neutrality, as well as how its data-driven scenarios can help you in your decision-making process and implementation of climate strategy. Moreover, some of our pilot cities will share their experiences to inspire you and clear your doubts. Finally, should you still have questions, you can take advantage of the Q&A session.

Don’t miss this chance to learn more about the innovative EUCityCalc!

Register today and join us in this journey towards future-proof cities and more resilient societies.
